Shantih Dean is a counseling intern at Karis House Community Counseling Center. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling at Regent University.
Shantih’s approach is compassionate, relational, and supportive. She strives to create a safe space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to explore their stories and experiences. In addition to her clinical training, Shantih brings a depth of lived experience shaped by years of caregiving, mentoring, ministry, family life, and walking alongside others through seasons of transition, suffering, resilience, and growth.
Her clinical interests include systems theory, emotionally focused therapy, psychoeducation, biracial and multiracial identity development, and faith integration when desired by the client. She has experience supporting individuals navigating chronic illness, grief, trauma, emotional overwhelm, identity, belonging, and relational connection.
Shantih is honored to walk alongside clients as they pursue growth, healing, and healthier relationships. Services provided by Shantih are supervised by Caridad Baez-Williamson, LPC.
