Grenisha Adams received her Masters in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, where she gained a strong foundation and passion for providing accessible and quality therapy to individuals, youth, and families facing life challenges and hardships. Grenisha works collaboratively with families to identify and address underlying issues, improve communication, and strengthen familial bonds. She believes that by creating positive changes within the family system, individuals can experience improved well-being and greater support in their healing journey. Grenisha not only focuses on the individual therapeutic process but also emphasizes the vital importance of deepening intimacy with Jesus and forming deep connections within a supportive community. She believes that spiritual intimacy with God is an integral part of overall mental health and offers support and guidance for clients seeking to deepen their relationship with Jesus and cultivate meaningful connections within their community.

She is trained and specializes in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), which allows her to effectively work with clients who have experienced trauma. Grenisha understands the impact of trauma on mental health and utilizes TF-CBT techniques to help clients process their experiences, develop coping skills, and regain a sense of safety and control. In addition to trauma-focused therapy, Grenisha has experience working with youth and families who struggle with complex familial dynamics, adolescent behavioral health, life transitions, self-efficacy, loneliness and anxiety. She recognizes the importance of providing a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings, challenge negative beliefs, and develop healthier ways of coping.
